Pendant light, Deeply, natural/herb, Ø55cm, H22cm - GOLDEN Editions

Deeply is a pendant light created by Paris-based British designer Sara Efia Reddin in 2020 for the collection of Golden Editions.

Deeply is a suspension composed of a wide shade made of a wide shape, and a cable with its canopy. The shade is hand-woven by craftsmen according to the tradition of Bolga weaving, a craft originating from the Bolgatanga region in Northern Ghana. The material used is grass, the Veta Vera grass : it is cultivated locally, harvested before being twisted and pulled until it becomes smooth and resilient reeds, that are finally hand-dyed with natural pigments. The rhythmic stripes with open weaved let the light shine through to create a cosy and natural atmosphere. Whether individually or in a group, Deeply is perfect above a table, in a living-room, or in a bedroom.

The light source is not included (1x E27 bulb). The suspension is delivered with a black (for the colours natural/midnight and midnight) or gold (for the colours ginger and herb) fabric twisted cable and a brass canopy.

Deeply is available is four colours: natural/midnight, natural/herb, midnight, and natural/ginger.

The Deeply series is made of the pendant lamps: Deeply, Deeply XL and Deeply + Lantern.

Each piece is unique, some variations in size and shape are part of the artisanal process.
