Wall light, Mantis BS5, black, L45cm, H12cm - Dcw editions
The Mantis collection is presented by the French company DCW editions and invented in 1951 by Bernard Schottlander.
Based on Alexander Calder's work on mobiles, this is where the designer unveils this collection.
Artist and engineer, Bernard Schottlander developed a clever counterweight pivot system, and used thin, flexible and ultra-resistant metal rods.
Mantis BS5 is a wall light made of steel and aluminium. Its arm is rotating, horizontal (200°) and tiltable vertically. This light provides mobile and efficient lighting and above all optimal stability.
It blends completely into your living room, above a bedside table or in a hallway for a spectacular effect.
Its base measures 9.5cm in diameter, its length is 12cm and its height is about 12cm.
The E14 LED bulb is not supplied, we recommend a light source of maximum 11W.
