García Cumini is a design studio that was created in 2012 following the fusion of Italian and Spanish culture. Cultures mixing the joy of living with creativity.
Vicente García Jiménez and Cinzia Cumini joined forces to create this studio, they both based their work on the concept of "Slow design", this concept is based on the creation of lighting opposed to the idea of industrialization. These lights are generally unique and limited edition, they face the invasion of standardized lighting.
The design studio studies technical innovations in order to understand and exploit their potential. The designers work on lighting intended to last over time, such as the Spokes pendant lamp, designed for the Italian house Foscarini.
García Cumini was awarded with the Honorable Mention for their "Infinity" project in the "Exhibition design" category during the XXIInd Golden Compass.
