Mario Bellini is an internationally renowned architect and designer born in Milan in 1935. He studied architecture at the Milan Polytechnic School, graduating in 1959. He was also the director of the domus magazine. Thanks to his talent, the Moma dedicated a monographic exhibition to him in 1987.
He has designed numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad. Since the 1980s, he has been designing and building internationally renowned spaces such as the Portello district of the Milan Exhibition Centre, the Villa Erba Exhibition Centre, the Tokyo Design Centre, the Natuzzi america headquarters, and many others.
He is currently working on the construction of the Turin Cultural Centre and the renovation of the Brera Picture Gallery.
His knowledge and mastery of design have enabled him to find his place in design. Today, he is considered to be one of the most important design references.
