A graduate of Beaux-Arts and the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle (ENSCI-Les Ateliers), Pierre Charrié is a French designer with a strong interest in the sensory dimension and everyday objects. Thanks to his expertise, Pierre subtly combines materials and sounds.
Each creation is filled with new interactions while transcending the ordinary. Equally passionate about music, Pierre Charrié brings a new dimension to his creativity by experimenting with sound quality on different objects, which has earned him recognition from his peers.
Versatile and a designer at heart, he works with natural materials such as wood, lacquer, ceramics, feathers and mother-of-pearl. Pierre Charrié uses innovative and ancestral techniques that he learns from his encounters with craftsmen.
He has won numerous awards, including the Bourse Agora in 2013, the Grand Prix de la Création de la ville de Paris in 2015, and AD magazine's top designers of 2019 and 2020.
