Sarah Poniatowski

Nationality
French
Occupation
Designer

From the beginning, Sarah Poniatowski has learned to appreciate the beauty of the world and has developed a boundless curiosity. "Decoration, fashion... I fell into it when I was little or almost: my father was the director of Vogue magazine for a long time and my mother and grandmother are absolutely elegant women who gave me a taste for beautiful things."

She first studied psychology, theater and communication in New York and was soon introduced to interior design.
She created the Sarah Lavoine House, which works with quality craftsmen based in France, Italy and Spain. Echoing the demands of architecture, her desire is to support sustainable work and creation.
Each artisan is carefully chosen to highlight the beauty of each piece and the gesture that accompanies it, with respect for the environment and for people.

More than ever, Maison Sarah Lavoine is committed to respecting and protecting nature by being ever more sustainable through the origin of its materials and the way it designs perennial and timeless products.

The House also favors ecological packaging such as organic cotton or kraft paper and is committed to better consumption on a daily basis. To extend this commitment, the company supports causes such as No More Plastic, which fights against plastic pollution in the oceans.
