Since 2005, Bocci has been designing and manufacturing lighting fixtures and systems in its Vancouver and Berlin studios, under the creative direction of Omer Arbel. Often inspired by spherical shapes, all Bocci lamps and chandeliers are extraordinary light sculptures with a strong aesthetic impact.
The studio is committed to cultivating multidisciplinarity between the fields of architecture, sculpture, invention and design. The central themes of its work include the intrinsic mechanical, physical and chemical qualities of materials and the exploration of light as a medium of expression.
Bocci's sculptural lighting collections are developed, designed and manufactured in-house, with an infrastructure calibrated to allow for total control of technique, quality and scale.
