Stilnovo was founded in the heart of Milan by Bruno Gatta in 1946.
From the very beginning, Stilnovo participated in the 8th Triennale di Milano in 1947, and launched an advertising campaign directly to the most specialized magazines in the sector. .
Bruno Gatta then created "Stilnovo Srl" with his brother and entered the business world.
Thus, in a few years, the management career that begins for the two brothers will make the company a reference in the field of lighting and modern lights.
For several years, Stilnovo remains at its peak. The brand exhibits many models of lamps in the most important design museums in the world.
Stilnovo associates with many designers such as Achille and Piergiacomo Castiglioni or Joe Colombo, and creates its own design studio.
The brand won numerous awards such as the silver medal at the 10th Triennale in Milan or the Compasso d'Oro, which was awarded to the 2061 arm lamp.
However, after decades of success, Stilnovo stops in the middle of a journey started in the 1940s.
It was in 2019, that the global leader in LED lighting, Linea Light Group acquired Stilnovo.
With the pragmatic and innovative approach that binds Stilnovo and Linea Light Group, the project is to reissue iconic models from the past, in addition to partnering with new designers to develop new lights.
